Terms of Service

By accessing or using BuLumina (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses the Service in any way.

BuLumina is a web-based AI assistant built by Burak Y. It allows registered users to hold conversations with an advanced language model, upload images for analysis, search the web, and use other related features.

The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without prior notice.

BuLumina uses a safety-tuned AI language model with content filters and moderation. The model is designed to decline requests that violate its safety guidelines, applicable law, or these Terms.

Despite these safeguards, no AI system is perfect. The model may still occasionally:

• Produce inaccurate, outdated, or fabricated information
• Reflect biases present in its training data
• Fail to recognize a harmful intent
• Generate content that is confusing or unexpected

Outputs are generated by a statistical language model and do not reflect the views, opinions, or intentions of BuLumina, its creator, or its operators. The AI has no consciousness, no intent, and no responsibility for what it generates.

You must be 18 years or older to use BuLumina.

To use the Service, you further agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information (email, username).
• Keep your account credentials confidential and secure.
• Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to evade limits.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Use the Service in compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

New accounts require manual approval by an administrator before they become active. We reserve the right to refuse, delay, or revoke approval at any time, for any reason, without explanation.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harm, exploit, or endanger minors in any way.
• Plan, facilitate, or commit illegal activity.
• Generate or distribute malware, phishing content, or exploit code.
• Dox, stalk, harass, threaten, or defame any individual or group.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security, or admin controls.
• Overload, DDoS, or otherwise disrupt the Service.
• Impersonate BuLumina, its creator, or any other person.

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account and, where applicable, reporting to the relevant authorities.

This includes, but is not limited to: personal, legal, financial, psychological, social, or societal harm that may result from acting on, sharing, or relying upon any output produced by the AI.

The creator(s), operator(s), and maintainer(s) of BuLumina shall bear no liability whatsoever for any such consequences.

You are expected to apply critical judgment to every output. Do not treat AI-generated content as factual, professional, or legal advice.

The Service uses an internal credit system called BuMoney. The conversion rate is 1 BuMoney = 1,000 tokens.

• New accounts receive 100 BuMoney free upon approval.
• BuMoney has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• BuMoney is deducted per chat message, based on token usage.
• Stopped responses are charged fairly, based on what was generated.
• BuMoney is non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing, add paid tiers, or change the BuMoney conversion rate in the future.

BuLumina is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. The Service does not provide — and must not be relied upon for:

• Medical advice — no diagnosis, treatment, or health guidance.
• Legal advice — no attorney-client relationship is created.
• Financial advice — no investment, tax, or accounting guidance.
• Psychological advice — no therapy or mental health support.
• Safety-critical advice — no guidance for dangerous activities.

Always consult a qualified professional in the relevant field before making any decision based on information obtained from BuLumina.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• All chat conversations are stored on our servers and may be reviewed by authorized administrators.
• We actively monitor for content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
• We may preserve, export, and disclose your chat logs, account information, and metadata to law enforcement or competent authorities when required by law or when we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent harm.
• We are not obligated to notify you before making such disclosures.

By using the Service, you consent to this monitoring and understand that your conversations are not private from the operators.

• Your use of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
• Content you submit, generate, share, or act upon.
• Any harm resulting from your reliance on AI-generated output.

This obligation survives termination of your account.

BuLumina operates by sending your messages to third-party AI models, web search services, and related providers. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• Your message content is transmitted to external AI providers for processing.
• These providers have their own terms and data handling practices.
• We are not responsible for outages, changes, or actions of these third parties.
• We do not control or guarantee the output of third-party AI models.

BuLumina is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party AI model provider.

The BuLumina brand, logo, source code, design, and all related materials are the property of Burak Y. and may not be reproduced, modified, or redistributed without written permission.

Content generated by the AI during your sessions is not owned by us. You are free to use it, subject to the responsibility clause above.

Chat conversations are stored on our servers. Every message you send and every response the AI generates is retained in our database.

Authorized administrators can access and review the full content of your conversations. This data may be used for moderation, safety, abuse investigation, legal compliance, and reporting to authorities when required by law.

We also store your email, username, balance, transaction history, and related metadata. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or free of errors. Use it at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the creator(s), operator(s), and maintainer(s) of BuLumina shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with BuLumina, you agree to first contact us on Discord and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least 30 days before pursuing any formal legal action.

Class action waiver. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action against BuLumina.

Jury trial waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to a trial by jury in any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

BuLumina shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: internet outages, cyberattacks, natural disasters, government action, third-party service failure, hardware failure, power outages, or acts of God.

You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws in your use of the Service. Specifically, you represent and warrant that:

• You are not located in a country subject to comprehensive sanctions.
• You are not listed on any government prohibited-party list.
• You will not use the Service for any purpose prohibited by applicable law.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service is legal in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or permanently delete any account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. This includes — but is not limited to — violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or requests from legal authorities.

You may also delete your account at any time by contacting the operator. On termination, your BuMoney balance is forfeited.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the version number at the top of this page will be incremented. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Material changes will be announced on our Discord server.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Türkiye.
